Mornings and Self-Love

I am a big believer of self-care and self-love. I believe that it is important to give ourselves the care and attention that we deserve for a few precious minutes every day before we dive back in to the rat race. There are a few things that we can do to show ourselves some love. Here’s what I do when I wake up every morning:

1. Yoga For 15 Minutes

Yoga is great for relaxation and stretching. Just 15 minutes every morning can boost mental clarity for a more mindful approach to start my day. In addition to keeping me energized, yoga is also great for blood flow and for stretching the muscles. Two or three times a week, I practice yoga for a couple of hours after work which helps me to centre myself. My favourite types of yoga are Anti Gravity yoga, Hatha yoga and Vinyasa yoga.

2. Face Yoga Massage

This is my secret to looking young and glowing! Face Yoga Massage is fun and easy to do, and it helps improve blood circulation and decrease puffiness in the face. The movements on your face are extremely therapeutic and it’s like medicine for the mind and the soul.
